LMI seeks a Supply Chain Solutions Senior Consultant to support an intelligence community client in the Northern Virginia area.

  • Develop inventory optimization solutions using modeling and simulation tools
  • Identify critical and routine components to generate parts and spares requirements for all sites and systems
  • Identify drivers impacting readiness requirements, new equipment deployments, historical usage of equipment spares, required maintenance and repair supplies, time-to-deliver, and inventory on hand
  • Develop inventory review schedules and replenishment strategies to meet operational system readiness requirements
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for supply chain and sustainment improvements
  • Propose approaches to increase system availability, including spares deployments
  • Support training at local sites to address common failure conditions
  • Support policy, business rule, and processes updates 
  • Transform data and analysis into informative visualizations and interactive dashboards using open-source and commercially available visualization and dashboard tools.
  • Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers



  • TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph is required; current Polygraph desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, mathematics, or any relevant logistics field
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in maintenance, supply chain, logistics operations
  • Experience performing analyses with inventory modeling and optimization tools
  • Knowledge of weapon systems fielding, support equipment and lifecycle logistics  activities
  • Knowledge of spares/replacement parts plans
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications


  • Master's Degree in business administration, mathematics, or any relevant logistics discipline 
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining models in production
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45 as it relates to the management of federal personal property from acquisition through disposal
