Overview

Position is on the research staff of a private, not-for-profit management consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. This position is located at the LMI Southwest Regional Office, San Antonio, TX. The primary objective of this work is to facilitate the effective and efficient execution of the Air Force worldwide environmental programs.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Scheduling and managing client meetings.
  • Compiling, staging, analyzing and managing large data sets.
  • Conducting technical research to include: approved analytical methods, remediation technologies, finding technical tools and innovative technologies.
  • Preparing technical training guidance manuals, Power Point presentations, and environmental related technical documents.
  • Supporting LMI Mid-level and Senior Environmental Analysts with day-to-day program activities.

Qualifications

Applicants to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only U.S. Citizens are eligible for security clearances. For this position, LMI will only consider individuals who possess current security clearances or those who are eligible to obtain one.

 

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, chemistry, or other physical science with application to environmental industry.

 

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the environmental field, which may include up to 1 year of internship.

 

Solid ability with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.

 

Experience in maintaining effective relationships with government clients.

 

Strong technical reading, problem solving and analytical skills essential.

 

Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, technical writing and presentation skills.

 

Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork and fostering positive communication. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships in LMI’s multidisciplinary environment.

 

Applicants must be available for travel as required.
