The purpose of this position is to develop a robust, sustainable management consulting business portfolio for the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including seeking out new business opportunities that align with LMI core services.
LMI is seeking a seasoned, high-impact leader who can bring strategic perspective and a track record of success in growing business, delivering solutions to problems, and developing and executing sound business development processes. The BD Leader will develop, coordinate and implement marketing plans intended to increase business and capture new opportunities with the U.S. DHS, and related agencies. It is anticipated the successful candidate possesses a ready "portfolio" of US DHS contacts and customers in order to immediately build and execute an effective DHS focused executive and leadership Call Plan while immersing himself / herself in LMI culture, services, and capabilities. Initial accountabilities will be to qualify the existing LMI DHS pipeline and, within the first 12 months, expand that pipeline.
