Overview

LMI currently has an opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Support Specialist (Expert) to work in our Tyson’s Corner offices.

Responsibilities

Selected candidate will support a US government customer in performing acquisition planning services to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Document analysis of customer and stakeholder capability requirements, their prioritization and allocation.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on the implementation of FSA-identified material and non-material solutions.
  • Make database entries as required in designated G tools.
  • Organize, and coordinate the various intelligence working groups/ Integrated Product Teams (IPT) as required in support of capabilities analysis, development and documentation.
  • Perform reviews of capabilities documentation relationships to include checks and crosswalk of hierarchical decomposition.
  • Prepare briefings, white/position papers as required.
  • Provide substantive, administrative, reference, and other support to G's documentation development, maintenance and approval process.
  • Maintain Liaison with appropriate staff officers.
  • Participate in and guide capabilities based analyses in support of the development of appropriate
  • Prepare, coordinate and finalize information and decision briefings to be presented by the Government customer requirements related fora and working groups.
  • Conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Prepare procurement packages, including preparation and review of requirements documentation (e.g., Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statement of Need (SON), Performance Work Statement (PWS)), market research documentation , independent government cost estimates (IGCEs), draft evaluation factors, applicable pre-award determinations and findings, and applicable pre-award clearances and reviews (e.g., Small Business Set-Aside Review and Information Technology Checklist);Prepare or assist with the preparation of Determinations and Findings. Develop acquisition plans and procurement milestone schedules. Draft or assist in drafting and issuing applicable pre-award synopses; and present or assist in presenting acquisition planning documentation for higher level reviews and approvals. Prepare, evaluate, recommend for award, and recommend contract actions for Government review and signature

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of applicable experience is required. 
  • DoD/JCS Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with DoD and IC oversight and acquisition processes.
  • Demonstrated specialized Government agency or military experience in GEOINT or all source intelligence processes and activities.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience working with Geospatial Intelligence customers and partners.
  • Demonstrated understanding of capability gaps and requirements research and definition.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with the US Government agencies and the functional area of GEOINT, the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the Geospatial community.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and MS desired. 
  • Knowledge of facilities management, construction oversight, maintenance and operations desired
  • Knowledge of government contracting required
  • Facilitation skills desired.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint required;
  • Possess strong communications and people skills.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph is required.
