LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to support our Enterprise Technology Services Infrastructure Solutions group. This position is a subject matter expert, capable of designing, engineering, testing, implementing, and managing information technology (IT) networking systems and services. The ideal candidate must have strong container security knowledge and experience supporting application developers with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native deployment strategies well as real-world experience with implementing wired and wireless networking solutions to include routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Additionally, the successful candidate will have working knowledge of implementing and administering digital certificates.
The position will report to the Network Engineering Platform Lead.

Responsible for engineering and implementing LMI’s networking capabilities to include being the engineering point-of-contact for resolving reported performance or delivery issues. Must be able to manage multiple and competing priorities with little supervision.
Responsible for producing network designs and engineering artifacts.
Responsible for ensuring that all networking solutions comply with industry and Government-mandated security protocols, controls, and best-practices; working closely with our InfoSec Team for documenting controls and providing metrics to comply with audits and performance levels.
Responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Responsible for escalating issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate levels for clarification and resolution.
Responsible for keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies.
Responsible for appropriate interactions with LMI’s internal or external clients as projects dictate.
Responsible for upkeep of IT equipment in support of LMI’s secure environment to include applying required STIGs on all network equipment.
Required upkeep and maintenance of LMI’s two Datacenters.
Required when needed to support all LMI’s remote office locations and technologies
Resonsible for maintaining of containerized platform that aids hosting of developer hosted containers.
