Position is at a client facility in the Petersburg, VA area.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Function as a technical subject matter expert to include providing technical oversight for an integrated retail business suite.
  • Analyze the interface requirements between DeCA’s legacy and future systems.
  • Work with DeCA Information Assurance and Systems Engineering teams on the overall technical architecture to ensure compliance with the data center, security requirements.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of DeCA’s enterprise configuration management, systems engineering (SE), and enterprise architecture development in accordance with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and using IBM’s Rational System Architect tool.
  • Define the category management data cleansing strategy, oversight and execution.
  • Gather requirements for the development of data models and process models as well as system and architectural designs and storage designs for all assigned projects.
  • Understand the functional and technical features and functionality requirements.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years working with enterprise IT systems for a commercial grocer.
  • Understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Deep understanding of DeCA’s legacy system ( ) as well as NCR’s R10 business suite.
  • Experience supporting a commercial grocery store modernize its supply chain
  • Working knowledge of DeCA’s legacy IT systems, applications (Electronic Data Warehouse, SAVES, AIMES, and VPR), business rules/operations/mission/goals.
