We operate completely free of political and commercial bias, and we are entirely aligned with the goals of our clients. Our clients value our not-for-profit status and specialized services in logistics, intelligence, homeland security, health care, and energy and environment markets. We believe government can make a difference, and we seek talented, hardworking people who share that conviction.

 About the Program

The purpose of the Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program is to produce the next generation of highly skilled DoD science and technology (S&T) leaders. SMART is a scholarship for service program that provides academic funding to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for exceling in STEM fields.  In exchange, students complete a period of full time employment with the DoD where they are provided opportunities to further their work and research in civil service roles.  The result is that the SMART Program strengthens the DoD by placing high performers into civilian STEM positions thereby enhancing specific facility mission delivery.
