LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of the government. LMI is seeking a ServiceNow Specialist for the Information Management Group of a not-for-profit government consulting organization headquartered in Tysons, VA. The ServiceNow Specialist is responsible for promoting the ServiceNow platform as a service line of business. The incumbent must be experienced across multiple ServiceNow areas, specifically System Administration, Application Creation and Implementation. This position requires the incumbent to be client-facing with the ability to promote LMI’s ServiceNow capabilities. Significant experience using Tableau is a major plus. We are interested in candidates that want to quickly have an impact and will be responsible for the immediate and ongoing advancement of the ServiceNow platform.


  • Lead ServiceNow implementation tasks for clients.
  • Identify areas for process improvement using ServiceNow as the platform.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting user and process requirements.
  • Review client requirements and identify ServiceNow areas for automation.
  • Make best practice recommendations and plan and lead implementation projects.
  • Review business opportunities and participate in proposal efforts to provide and document ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist in creating documentation and training materials as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption as appropriate.


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 2-4 years professional experience.
  • ServiceNow system implementation experience required.
  • ServiceNow certifications preferred.
  • Significant Tableau experience preferred.
  • Additional certifications preferred: PMP, Agile ScrumMaster
  • Must have strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of LMI personnel and clients.
  • Able to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks with little supervision.
  • Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria.
  • Able to work in a deadline oriented environment is essential.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
