  • Overview

    Program management and systems engineering support services for data-driven process improvement aligned with IT projects that support agency missions. Program management and technical support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) including business system maintenance, enterprise infrastructure management, IT help desk operations, and data analytics. The PM is responsible for tracking project cost, schedule and performance, preparing deliverables, and reporting status to all stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and submit program documentation that includes acquisition strategies, market research, requirements analysis, risk assessments, acquisition, program baselines, test and evaluation master plan, logistics support and security authorization.
    • Assist CIO with reviewing business initiatives, project plans, and other documents.
    • Provide technical support to administration of ongoing projects and portfolios.
    • Provide strategic planning support for enterprise services implementation.
    • Safeguard network systems; ensure availability and redundancy of systems and applications.
    • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
    • Support the development and application of organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
    • Oversee the testing and maintenance of computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
    • Ensure contract deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contract specifications.

    Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of experience
    • PMP and/or PgMP desired
    • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree or equivalent
    • Experience managing a team
    • Experience building and operating a large, nation-wide network with many branches
    • Expertise in the use of various applications to include Network Operations Management Systems, Transportation Information Management Evaluation System (TIMES), and Facilities Management software
    • Relevant certification(s), such as:
      • Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA)
      • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
      • Certified SAFE Agilist (CSA)
      • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
      • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
      • DAWIA Level I IT
      • CompTIA Security +/Network +/A +
      • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
