Overview

This position is responsible for managing projects and tasks for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The PM holds responsibility for building and maintaining strong labor relations, managing employee resources, reviewing compensation, identifying opportunities for employee engagement, and overseeing the Human Resources Shared Services. The PM is also responsible for tracking project cost, schedule and performance, preparing deliverables, and reporting status to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manages various human resource programs.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a group of HR professionals. 
  • Develop strategies to improve engagement and address organizational challenges. 
  • Establish appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to drive accountability, measure results, and optimize the impact of the strategic workforce management function. 
  • Support the HR shared services and ensure the alignment with agency’s mission and business goals.
  • Ensure contract deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contract specifications.

 

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • PMP required; PgMP desired
  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree or equivalent
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with employee and labor relations
  • Relevant certification(s), such as:
    • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
    • Employee Engagement Specialist (EES)
    • Human Capital Strategist (HCS)
