Responsibilities

Review cost recovery methods, pricing strategies, business systems capabilities and financial and performance metrics

  • Perform best-practice assessments and process improvement evaluations
  • Develop As-Is and To-Be documentation for financial management, ordering, billing, invoicing, and reporting processes in support of transition planning
  • Assist with the development of performance and workflow metrics and business planning documentation in support of transition planning and enterprise sustainability
  • Analyze business line revenue and expense streams and inventory
  • Develop recommendations to improve or correct issues in the business product lines
  • Analyze business line financial reports monthly
  • Document business line issues, procedures or changes in procedure and/or integrate improvements into existing process documentation
  • Research business line financial issues and questions
  • Review monthly reports and educate and advise business line personnel on business and financial management matters
  • Develop and present reports and metrics that will assist business line management in assessing financial and process health and integrity
  • Review business line internal controls and develop recommendations to strengthen controls
  • Perform busing process evaluations and gap analyses in order to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions
  • Assist with the development on annual pricing proposals
  • Analyze actual spending against budget plans
  • Document/Review defined processes and identify existing key control activities
  • Evaluate, assess processes and test financial control activities and select balances.  Identify key findings and prioritize risk-based recommendations.
  • Develop prescriptive action plans to mitigate risks revealed in the evaluate/testing phase
  • Determine the comprehensive costs associated with the entire business line and present a break out cost for each of the business areas

 

Select candidate shall prepare and submit the following deliverables:

  • Deliver a new pricing model
  • Provide documentation to reflect revenue and expenses for the fiscal year; additions of new products, services, or Enterprises; changes to the governance model; or other revisions as directed by the COTR
  • Cost and pricing analyses of services or activities
  • Assessments of the annual budget and pricing proposals
  • Consulting services to support the planning necessary to transition new products and services to include participation in benchmarking, outreach/communication events, financial management and business systems planning, and production of briefing materials
  • Business process evaluations and improvement plans
  • Document process workflows, supporting narratives, and identification of existing key internal controls
  • Prepare a comprehensive risk and control matrix
  • Deliver initial and substantive corrective plans
  • Consulting services to support the initial deployment of the corrective action plans

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of experience.

 

Security Clearance Statement:

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph is required. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
