LMI is currently seeking a full-time Regional Project Manager Leads to facilitate programmatic level support, with particular attention to on-site planning, performance management, and integration within the FEMA Regional Offices nationwide. FEMA requires project management support through the Risk MAP Program Management contract. Responsibilities include project management, tracking, reporting, and report writing. May include liaising with community officials and project leads of similar programs and public speaking. Has responsibility for reporting project metrics, writing, and delivering project status reports, communicating project directives, and training. May include technical responsibilities in engineering, GIS, and topography and policy knowledge or similar or related programs. Candidates should be skilled in program and project management and project management software and methodology.
Specific job activities include undertaking efforts to meet the needs of Regional program delivery. This includes support for the development and implementation of:
Strong organizational development, change management, process improvement and capability building, business requirements gathering, group facilitation, as well as program management support functions. This is a one year assignment, with possible renewal based upon need and available resources. B.S. and 10 years of experience or a B.S. and relevant Professional Registration and five years of experience (Certified Floodplain Manager, Project Management Professional, Program Management Professional, or similar). This position requires all contractors to pass a FEMA security screening in order to obtain and maintain a FEMA Contractor Badge and FEMA Suitability Status.
