This position on the consulting staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. Work location is on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Under the guidance of the assigned government lead, manage day to day operations and task management from GCSS-Army Increment 1, PM AESIP, and key stakeholders. Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, articulate, and proactive. Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, seeking guidance and clarification as required. Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams and subordinate programs. Candidate will be required to assist in the development and updating of program and acquisition documentation to include those required under the DOD 5000 series. Support will include helping clients develop specific acquisition strategies and evaluation plans. Lead or participate on a team of analysts supporting Army acquisition activities by conducting evaluations, recommending management improvements, and implementing solutions. Management evaluations may deal with policies, procedures, staffing, organization, information systems, productivity, and interaction with internal and external customers. Manages PdM GCSS-Army schedule, ensures PdM schedule changes are disseminated appropriately and timely, prepares read ahead materiel and compiles daily Smart Book and takes meeting notes and records taskers. Disseminates taskers to appropriate staff element. Coordinates PdM travel and files travel voucher. Manages correspondence and makes minor corrections to white papers and power point presentations.
