    For this positon, work location is on-site at Fort Lee, Virginia.

    As part of the Operations team, works with all team members to complete all tasks and requirements from the client in order meet all timelines for successful completion. Under the guidance of the assigned government lead, manage day to day operations and task management from in support of the program and key stakeholders. Must be a Power Point expert and comfortable with developing innovative and professional slide presentations from scratch – utilizing graphics and creative themes dependent on the audience and subject matter being addressed. Must be articulate, proactive, and comfortable interacting with all levels of leadership. Must be able to thrive in a highly charged and fast-paced team environment where you will prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, though seeking guidance and clarification where required. Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams and subordinate programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Must have an expert level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint, specifically in development of briefing slides for Army and Department of Defense leadership – (examples may be requested). Candidate must be an expert in developing innovative and professional slide decks from scratch – utilizing innovative graphics and creative themes to tell the “story”, dependent on the audience and subject matter being addressed.
    • Draft documents for leadership, requiring expert level skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Project) expertise to include providing senior leadership with weekly highlights summarizing key events across the portfolio. Other specific types of documentation may include correspondence, memorandums, reports, etc.
    • With minimal oversight, assist with managing taskers (due outs) through completion; track status in SharePoint, ensuring timely completion of tasks by subordinate elements and to higher headquarters. Seek and provide clarifying guidance as required from the task issuer. Serve as a first-line advisor to the program action officers regarding task completion.
    • Maintain action items and follow up on due outs for various types of Integrated Product Teams / Working IPTs (WIPTs) and significant project management office (PMO) meetings and working groups as deemed appropriate.
    • Provide support for team efforts to include coordination of meetings, teleconferences, preparation and dissemination of meeting invitations, meeting agenda, and documentation, and action item tracking.
    • Assist in organizing, formatting, typing, proofreading and editing briefings, reports, and manuals.
    • Ability to distill data, reach conclusions, and present findings to multiple audiences and levels of leadership across the DoD is required.
    • Recent Army experience and relevant professional certifications a plus.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Must have an expert level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint, specifically in development of briefing slides for Army and Department of Defense leadership – (examples or test may be required). Candidate must be an expert in developing innovative and professional slide decks from scratch – utilizing innovative graphics and creative themes to tell the “story”, dependent on the audience and subject matter being addressed.
    • Must currently possess, and be able to maintain, a Secret clearance.
    • Must have ability to obtain CAC card.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. This includes ability to compose, write, and edit a variety of proposals, technical presentations, briefings, papers, management reports, and acquisition documents.
    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills are required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within our consulting firm and with our customers.
    • Must possess understanding of and experience with U.S Army ACAT program office.
    • Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project planning and operational support for a government program/office, ideally in support of a DoD agency.
    • Availability for occasional travel to include local trips to contractor sites in the Richmond/Petersburg, VA area, and occasional travel to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Preferred candidate should have experience working as a staff officer or an Executive Officer in DoD environment, preferably Acquisition related.
    • Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and or DoD 5000.75
    • Expertise in the use of various computer (hardware and software) and peripheral packages/devices to include all Microsoft Office Professional, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional version.
