  • Overview

    Provide SETA support to identify and collect the documentation of software interfaces that provide interaction across the boundaries of the Army’s current ERP environments. In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, develop overarching policy for establishing new, and maintaining existing, interfaces. Define a governance model, to include process, procedures, and board construct, which will provide oversight to ensure the ongoing coordination of changes to interfaces. Organize and facilitate the Governance Board and ensure participants and stakeholder conformance to governance policy. This position would be supporting PEO Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) HQs located on Fort Belvoir, VA.

    Responsibilities

      • Ten to 15 years of experience in Information Technology architecture, team management, and technology consulting in the US Department of Defense as well as in the commercial sector.
      • Senior Enterprise Architect experience within the Army ERP environment preferred.
      • Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) & Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) Experience. Certifications preferred.
      • Experience developing interface requirements, specifications, and control documents.
      • Experience with various architecture modeling tools, preferably ARIS and System Architect
      • Understand the general principles and best practices of managing interfaces and the complexities of managing them in an interoperable environment. Ability to identify the most efficient and effective processes and methods for implementing them.
      • Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, be articulate, and be proactive.
      • Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, seeking guidance and clarification as required.
      • Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams and subordinate programs.
      • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are required.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in systems engineering, information systems, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum Secret clearance required.
    • Certifications preferred.
