    Position is on the research staff of LMI, a private, not-for-profit management consulting organization located in McLean, VA that provides solutions to the federal government. The position will be located in the Springfield/Alexandria area.

    Responsibilities

    The Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) team supports the Security and Installations Directorate in providing efficient facility management across campuses. The Systems Architect for the CAFM team will deliver full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to support its various customers. The Systems Architect will develop/manage the overall system design through project engagements. This role will require customer focus, being part of a software development team and understanding the implementation and systems-related project goals, specifically the technical development and implementation resources.

    Qualifications

    • Strong background in ARCHIBUS (or similar platform) development and/or ARCHIBUS certification required

    • Minimum 5 years in business and technical, designing and implementing customer and internally facing solutions

    • Solid Project Management background with the ability to talk through solutions, pricing, and staffing components of individual projects

    • Experience developing efficient system design solutions based on existing application experience and knowledge

    • Familiarity or experience in Oracle or SQL Server

    • Ability to engage and manage senior level client relationships

    • Experience developing and conducting professional product demonstrations

    Desired Skills:

    • 5-10 years’ experience in the Integrated Workplace Management Systems(IWMS) industry
    • Domain expertise around a specific area of system architecture and software development with a focus on real estate and facilities management systems preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience working with web-based applications such as ARCHIBUS, Maximo, and TRIRIG
    • Ability to act as the lead and overall designer for the system to be developed
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading teams, including client and consulting staff
    • Minimum 3-5 years application support and application staffing solution development experience
    • Strong business process knowledge, specifically pricing, availability, customer service, account management, and fulfillment

For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.  Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
