    Responsibilities

    The consultant is responsible for partnering with the Manager of Leadership development to implement and maintain a robust training and leadership development strategy for the organization. This role is responsible for helping the organization to grow professionally, and a variety of programs, trainings, and development opportunities for professional development.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate, create, and maintain the comprehensive suite of existing and to-be leadership development offerings, including executive and leadership development, internal and external training opportunities, coaching, and leadership assessments.
    • Support LMI’s established and future leader development program
    • Create and maintain training and learning metrics to show ROI of programs
    • Facilitate meetings, trainings, or periodic focus groups and stakeholder meetings (e.g., “brown bags”) to ensure leader development offerings remain relevant to stakeholders, and maintain ongoing support from leadership at large.
    • Support other talent management initiatives as required including employee development, succession planning, workforce planning and career paths as needed.
    • Support enterprise requests associated with external client requirements and leadership development. (e.g., leadership training, best-practice or developmental expertise for client application).
    • Provide innovative learning solutions, thought leadership, and best practices in leadership development that take offerings to the next level in support of a diverse, global business.
    • Seek, share and adopt ideas and best practices inside LMI from outside the company to deliver cutting edge leader development solutions.
    • Manage logistics with internal and external vendors for training and learning programs

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5-8 years of relevant work experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, HR, Organizational Development, or Related field
    • Experienced classroom and meeting trainer and facilitator
    • Experience building content and facilitation in eLearning platforms
    • Demonstrated instructional design capability, both through formal training and practical on-the-job application; Ability to design training courses using various modalities
    • Excellent MS Office skills, preferably at an advanced level (incorporating sound, video, embedded files, custom animations).
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
    • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills
    • Great network of training and developmental consultants and resources
    • HR and Training Consulting skills
    • Proven experience managing training and/or leadership development programs
    • Evaluation and revamping of training programs
    • Good project management/planning skill, including ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute a project within budget parameters and on schedule with strong record of project execution
    • Experience in training and development of creative adult learning and educational theories
    • Familiar with Learning Management System platforms
    • Team Player attitude
    • Self-Starter 

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications in Facilitation or instructional design
    • Familiar with conducting or managing learning needs analysis
    • Interest in Professional coaching (trained and/or certified)
    • Certified in 360 assessments
    • Advanced degree or certification in adult learning, HR, OD, or applicable experience.
    • Certifications in various programs and tools such as MBTI and DiSC.
    • Ability to work with, coach, and influence emerging and existing leaders
    • Ability to travel as needed
