  • Overview

    The Security Analyst position will provide a broad-range of information security support as part of the information security team as part of the Digital Services group. This position is looking for a security analyst contribute to day to day security operations, implementing Technical solutions across the organization and supporting compliance activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Automate security workflows leveraging multiple security technology APIs
    • Maintain vulnerability management system and conduct incident response activities
    • Implement new features leveraging SIEM to curate security event data and provide tactical and management level metrics
    • Support Information Assurance activities

    Qualifications

     

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) , CISA, Security+, Certified Ethical hacker, ITIL, or other security certifications preferred.
    • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, plus 2 years progressively responsible work experience in an information security environment.   Experience can be substituted for degree in some cases.
    • Working knowledge of relevant Security Standards. I,e,NIST 800 series, RMF, OWASP, FedRamp, ISO, etc. 
    • Experience in scripting and workflow automation tools
    • Experience with Application Security 
    • Experience conducting security functions i.e. vulnerability management, incident reporting, and continuous monitoring 
    • Proficiency in operating systems.(e.g Windows,Linux,
    • Must have strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of LMI personnel in a professional manner and with a professional demeanor essential. 
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential. 
    • Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize projects.  Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned projects in an effective manner, meeting designated project standards and criteria.
    • Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
