    For a Proposal 

    LMI is seeking an enterprise architect to support a federal program management office (PMO) charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe and facilitate travel and trade.  We are seeking an energetic self-starter who is focused on practical and efficient solutions delivered by a multi-dimensional collaborative team.  This individual will provide full-time support to the client’s program management office, located in Northern Virginia.

    Responsibilities

    This individual will provide their expertise to achieve and maintain the client’s program alignment within DHS and CBP system architecture and technology standards, including defining a framework and/or structure of components and principles and guidelines.

    Specific responsibilities may include:

    • Developing Performance Reference Models (PRMs), Business Process Models (BPMs), To-Be and As-Is Business Process Models, and performance measures/metrics for all programs.

    Qualifications

    • Highly Preferred: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI
    • 10+ years’ experience and a MS degree in information systems or a related discipline
    • Certification by enterprise architecture-related organization, such as Federated Enterprise Architecture Certification (FEAC) Institute Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification
    • Experience supporting multi-functional technical engineering support services teams for large, complex programs
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, SharePoint
    • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders
    • Ability to effectively problem solve
    • Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
    • Possess strong organizational skills
    • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive government security investigation must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
