    This position on the consulting staff of a government-consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. Work location is on-site in Huntsville, AL.

     

    Under the guidance of the assigned government lead, manage day-to-day operations and task management from GCSS-Army Increment 2, PM AESIP, and key stakeholders.  Must be comfortable interacting with key leadership, articulate, and proactive. Must be able to work in a highly charged and fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance, seeking guidance and clarification as required. Interacts with staff at all levels and across organizational teams and subordinate programs.

     

    The Training Development and Delivery Specialist will work on-site at client organization located in Huntsville, AL. The Training Development and Delivery Specialist will support PdM GCSS-Army in developing and delivering training products. Participate in the design and structuring of Interactive Multimedia Instructional products for online delivery. Individual will answer training mailbox queries, research answers, and provide a clear summary response. Candidate will translate GCSS-Army system changes into training objects within a short period. Provide logistics management expertise on an as required basis.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop GCSS-Army functional training products
    • Ability to translate design concept into functional training products.
    • Review GCSS-Army training objects across multiple business areas for accuracy and deliverability.
    • Participate in training strategy meetings, brainstorming, and related forums as determined by the PdMO.
    • Collect data, analyze, and provide analysis summary as required.
    • Align performance with organizational missions, logistics goals and objectives, and customer requirements.
    • Responsible for analyzing performance metrics.
    • Responsible for delivery of classroom training.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in US Army automated Logistics.
    • Experience with SAP a plus.
    • Knowledge of multiple SAP business modules areas a plus.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
    • GCSS-Army experience preferred.
    • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
    • Training development and delivery experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficiency with Adobe Captivate is a plus.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • Excellent research techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Must be self-directed and detail-oriented
    • Must be a loyal team player with excellent inter-personal skills.
    • Works well under stress.
    • Must be a U. S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance.
