    The Qlik Developer will work closely and interact with business users to understand requirements, interpret and manipulate data, and produce dashboards and data visualizations using Qlik/Qlik Sense. The candidate will work closely with federal clients to create visualizations that address specific questions and drive decision making. The candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience with Qlik/Qlik Sense and how they have used it to address client needs.

    Responsibilities

    The candidate will be required to work closely with Interact with business users and understand their requirements. The candidate must have experience with the product, Qlik/Qlik Sense.  The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and preferable experience as a client facing consultant.

    • Use Qlik/Qlik Sense to generate dashboards and data visualizations.
    • Work closely and interact with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into data products.
    • Interpret, manipulate, and prepare data for analysis and visualization.
    • Communicate clearly through both written and oral media to solicit requirements, interpret results of analysis, and highlight key findings to clients.
    • Develop and deliver training on business intelligence and visualization software, such as Qlik/Qlik Sense.

     

    Qualifications

    • 2–4 years of experience as a Qlik Developer/Specialist.
    • Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and business intelligence, including but not limited to cutting-edge software features and capabilities of Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
    • Extensive experience developing visualizations with Qlik and deploying those visualizations to Qlik Server.
    • Experience using Qlik Server including troubleshooting Qlik Server issues and explaining Qlik Server functionality to business users.
    • Experience developing content for and delivering training to others on the use of Qlik or a similar business intelligence software.
    • Experience with ETL tools or performing ETL processes, including a strong aptitude for enhancing and automating queries from data sources such as relational databases and flat files.
    • Experience analyzing data from large datasets using geospatial and/or statistical analysis tools.
    • Experience working with end users to troubleshoot problems with both Qlik and Qlik Server.
    • Extensive experience developing and delivering Qlik training, managing and tracking end user requests and troubleshooting Qlik issues.
    • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with business customers and technical teams.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience supporting a federal agency
