    Position is on the staff of a management consulting firm located in Tysons, VA firm specializing in government operations. The NASA Property Management Analyst provides on-site subject matter expertise to the NASA Logistics Management Division (LMD) for integrated logistics management of personal property. The work will be performed at NASA Headquarters, 300 E Street SW, Washington, DC, with the possibility of telework on Mondays and Fridays.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement applicable directives and procedures related to property management.
    • Participate in policy and procedure development and updates.
    • Support the development of interactive training solutions and presentations to educate the NASA property management community.
    • Support the development of qualitative and quantitative measurements of logistics performance.
    • Support NASA and GSA cataloging procedures and database development.
    • Implement procedures, maintain applicable data, and coordinate with GSA in support of NASA artifact dispositioning.
    • Participate in LMD meetings and conferences as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and five years of related experience.
    • Ability to work with databases and large data sets.
    • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
    • Familiarity with the FAR and NASA FAR Supplement.
    • Familiarity with Industry Leading Practices and Voluntary Consensus Standards on Property Management.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Ability to work as part of a team in a customer environment.
    • Attention to detail while following defined processes.
