    The USAMRMC Clinical provides on-site subject matter expertise at the USAMRMC customer location in Fort Detrick, MD.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide biomedical maintenance technical guidance to assist with the development of plans and policy for AMEDD/MRMC enterprise medical logistics, acquisitions, and life cycle sustainment/management programs.
    • Assist the Senior Medical Maintenance (representative / warrant officer) in the management and execution of the National Maintenance Program.
    • Assist the Director for Materiel with strategic-level medical maintenance issues and represent those issues for the Commanding General, USAMRMC.
    • Advise the Director on medical maintenance issues to assist with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) and Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) development process.
    • Develop, execute, review and recommend new or revised biomedical maintenance directives, policies, and implementing instructions in support of strategic and operational medical logistics.
    • Maintain historical records to include records of transactions, minutes, and other documentation relevant to efficient management of extramural projects.
    • Develop information papers, executive summary, briefs, special studies, reviews & analysis in responses to external taskings.
    • Provide day-to-day coordination of activities within Army, DoD, other Federal agencies, academic, and industry labs (meetings, email, and phone calls).
    • Support the DCSLOG in adjudicating medical maintenance challenges.
    • Provide expertise for Command Inspection Program visits in the area of medical maintenance.
    • Develop Common Operating Picture for MRMC Clinical Engineering capabilities.
    • Attend internal meetings and coordinating activities within USAMRMC.
    • Respond to classified and unclassified taskings and requests for information (RFI) regarding Army medical logistics management, proponency, policies, organizations, requirements, strategies, and relationships with regard to MRMC missions and equities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from a Biomedical Engineering Program accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
    • Minimum 0-2 years related experience.
    • Knowledge in biomedical maintenance technical guidance to assist with the development of plans and policy for AMEDD/MRMC enterprise medical logistics, acquisitions, and life cycle sustainment/management programs.
    • Ability to obtain a CAC card required. In order to obtain a CAC card, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or an equivalent or higher investigation in accordance with Army Directive 2014-05 is required.
