    LMI, a government consulting firm, is seeking an experienced IT/Telecommunications lifecycle planner and logistics strategist to join our growing business supporting the United States Marines Corps. All candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills and a desire to assist in evolving USMC headquarters capabilities and management. Experience in IT/Telecommunications requirements analysis and management, in the Department of Defense IT environment is preferred. This position is remotely-based in the Washington DC area.

    Responsibilities

    • Lifecycle support planning for MCICOM IT/Telecommunications equipment (radio/data/IT infrastructure) that includes:
      • reviewing emerging strategies related to MCICOM IT/ Telecommunications
      • advise leadership on logistics-related items
      • review policy and develop procedures for lifecycle support planning
      • identify and recommend actions to resolve equipment shortfalls
      • conduct related policy audits
    • Plan for, manage, and coordinate post-warranty support for MCICOM IT/Telecommunications Equipment (radio/data/IT infrastructure)
      • Identify all IT/Telecommunications equipment provided to MCICOM by supporting agencies
      • Identify and recommend actions to resolve equipment shortfalls
      • Identify post-warranty lifecycle support plans with supporting agencies
      • Facilitate meetings to focus efforts, keep minutes, and assist in developing work products

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Education
      • BA/BS in science, technology, engineering, or business with 5-7 years relevant experience; or
      • MS with science, technology, engineering, or business 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Relevant experience in the United States Marines Corps and/or Department of Defense
    • Experience in customer IT/Telecommunications logistics and lifecycle planning
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • U.S. Citizenship

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Relevant experience in the Marines Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) or other USMC headquarters organizations

     

    Security Clearance:

    • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain clearance
