    LMI seeks mid-level and junior administrative professionals to support document control for a federal program management office in Northern Virginia. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate travel and trade. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation.

    Responsibilities

    You will coordinate and centralize document quality and management for our client’s programs and projects, including internal and external documents, reports, and various other communications. Representative responsibilities:

    • Control and manage documents that enter and leave the program management office
    • Maintain a robust organizational system to ensure the program responds to data calls in a timely fashion
    • Maintain the program’s quality management system, including reference documents
    • Administer, coordinate, and participate in the compilation and maintenance of records for the office’s internal and external documents
    • Work closely with program stakeholders and the communications team
    • Create, maintain, update, and control quality records for the office
    • Utilize SharePoint to monitor documents and maintain version control, resolving conflicts as needed
    • Prepare status reports on action items and correspondence

    Qualifications

    • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
    • Previous work with CBP’s Integrated Fixed Tower (IFT), Remove Video Surveillance Systems (RVSS), Mobile and Agent-Centric Systems (MACS), and/or Field Surveillance Services (FSS) portfolios is a plus.
    • Mid-level Document Control Specialist: 3–10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or management.
    • Junior Document Control Specialist: 0–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in business or management.
    • Experience with document management.
    • Excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Ability to effectively solve problems.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
