    This position is on the staff of a management-consulting firm located in Tysons, VA firm specializing in government operations. The Property/Asset Management Logistics Analyst duties will be performed at a client site in the Washington, DC area.


    • Perform analyses and provide advice relating to a wide range of current and future operational logistics issues to include Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).
    • Research issues and develop options with associated cost efficiencies and operational effectiveness ratings to include using analytical models and conceptual techniques to assess logistics capabilities as necessary.
    • Develop Agency-level logistics policies and processes for personal and real property management.
    • Execute logistics support activities such as supply chain management, inventory management, auditable accountable records management, contract property administration, government property disposal, cost analysis, asset management, and fleet management.
    • Monitor and manage agency property accountability programs in accordance with DODI 5000.64, “Accountability and Management of DOD Equipment and Other Accountable Property;” Agency 4160.1, “Accountable and Management of Property, Plant, Equipment, and Other Accountable Property;” applicable government property clauses in the FAR, DFAR, and NARI; and applicable SIOP TAM SOPs and User Guides.
    • Work with technical and non-technical personnel to obtain insight into operational logistics problems and identifying potential solutions.
    • Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
    • Prepare and coordinate for overseas trips with various agencies; prepare agendas; work visa requirements, etc.


    • Current U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance is required. CI Poly is preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 10 or more years of relevant work experience.    
    • Self-directed and detail oriented.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
