    This position will work in client space at Ft Belvoir, VA.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    The Senior Logistics/OCS Planner will:

    • assist with the development and reporting of JCASO’s performance metrics and mission measures to drive OCS process improvements and optimize JCASO performance.
    • support the collection and analysis of data pertaining to the various components of OCS (e.g. requirements determination, Contract Support Integration, Contracting Support, and Contractor Management, etc.) to support identification of project development and efforts with JCASO stakeholders to identify problems or opportunities that may lend themselves to process improvements for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
    • coordinate and synchronize with other OCS stakeholders through JCASO to support the development of OCS training and education materials.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree
    • 10 or more years of experience in acquisition, contracting, and/or procurement
    • Military background preferred
    • Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise materials
    • Experience in effectively communicating across the enterprise
    • Sound judgment and decision-making ·
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
    • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Other Desired Experience:

    • Attendance at the Joint OCS Planning & Execution Course (JOPEC).
    • Knowledge of Operational Contract Support (OCS)/Expeditionary Contracting current community of practice, capability gaps, strategic guidance, relevant current operations support issues, joint doctrine, resources, and automation systems, particularly those emerging over the last four years.
    • Familiarity with the key stakeholders and organizations in the OCS Communities of Interest.

    CLEARANCE Requirement:

    Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances at the Secret level. Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
