    LMI is seeking a Junior Business Process Reengineering Specialist who will provide subject matter expertise support on behalf of the Readiness and Health Directorate of Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, VA.  This project includes provide services to all codes of the Readiness and Health Directorate in its mission to support the management of readiness and health.  With the magnitude and pace of change occurring at BUMED and the Military Health System (MHS), consistent program support is critical in sustaining operations, transitioning programs, and implementing new initiatives. Performance is government site, either in Falls Church or Fairfax.  

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyzes process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
    • Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted business systems teams.
    • Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree, statistics, business administration, project management and accounting or related field.
    • Two or more years of experience working in a process improvement function. Experience supporting Six Sigma projects. Ability to apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects
    • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
    • Experienced with stakeholder engagement, and communication.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
    • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
    • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
    • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

    • Experience in federal government or federal government consulting
    • Experience in Intelligence Community is highly desired
    • Active clearance is desired.
    • Lean Six Sigma certification is desired
