    LMI is currently hiring for an experienced Sourcer to add to our in house recruiting team. This person will be primarily responsible for sourcing while conducting best in class full lifecycle recruiting support. LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm, dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of the government.     Description:

    This position requires the ability to identify, recruit and on-board talented staff to help LMI reach our growth goals. In this role, the Sourcer will be responsible for managing a contingent req load, while using creative techniques to source for passive candidates. This person will act as a business partner to the hiring managers and corporate recruiters. They will be responsible for working closely with the recruiters and hiring managers to determine gaps in candidate sourcing and supplement applicant pools with proactively sourced candidates.  

    Responsibilities

    • As an individual contributor, the Talent Acquisition/Sourcing Specialist partners with corporate recruiters and hiring managers to ensure an appropriate pipeline is generated for tough-to-fill or high priority roles as well as identify, source and recruit qualified candidates for such positions
    • Ability to build a relationship with leaders within recruiting and the service delivery divisions of LMI, to be approachable and guide sourcing discussions
    • Act as “go-to” resource for all sourcing, internet, local market, geographic market, and industry intelligence
    • Engage with hiring managers to add support and consultation during the recruiting search
    • Work with the recruiting manager, divisional and group leaders, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand recruiting needs and developing strategies to meet hiring goals
    • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit people with skills matching hiring needs and creating relationships with candidates to facilitate the interview/hiring process in order to drive them towards offer acceptance
    • Provide and drive updates on workload to the recruiters and hiring managers
    • Prioritize needs and discuss workload with the recruiting team
    • Insure pipeline is documented through excel spreadsheet that details outreach and active candidates as well as maintain a “hotbook” of passive candidates that align with long term hiring needs
    • Meet regularly with hiring managers for assigned reqs to discuss progress and key issues regarding sourcing
    • Build relationships with key leaders and build an internal network with new hires to expand external network (proactive outreach across senior levels)
    • Work with and manage external recruiting firms to identify additional applicants once LMI resources have been fully exhausted
    • Manage adhoc work - lead miscellaneous department projects such as proposal recruiting
    • Strong communication, influencing, and problem solving skills toward all stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree from accredited college or university.
    • 6+ years of professional recruiting experience
    • Must have the ability to identify passive candidates through various resources
    • Must have a firm understanding of OFCCP compliance and the ability to track reqs for compliance
    • Must have a proven track record of successful meeting key performance metrics (time-to-fill ratios, interview-to-hire ratio’s etc)
    • Proven success in managing and sourcing a high volume of job requisitions at one time as well as hiring for difficult-to-find requirements
    • Knowledgeable of employment law and hiring practices

    Desired:

    • MBA or Masters’ degree from accredited college or university (or working towards degree)
    • Experience in both corporate recruiting and staffing agencies strongly desired
    • International recruiting experience
