    LMI is seeking mid-level Program and Budget Analysts to work on-site at a client organization located in the Pentagon, VA. The Analyst will use their background in analyzing installations programs in support of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to provide policy, advisory, and programmatic analysis in support of senior leader processes.

    Responsibilities

    Applicant selected for this position will perform analysis and evaluation of programs, to include all phases of planning, programming, budgeting, execution, accounting, performance assessment, and financial management in support of Headquarters Marine Corps senior decision making processes. This position will be embedded in our client’s organization and be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Analyze Department of Defense (DoD) resource management and financial requirements.
    • Analyze installation requirements and funding in areas of: Military Construction (MILCON); facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization; demolition; management & services; Infrastructure Reset (IR), aviation operations; land management, portfolio of partnership agreements; housing; environmental compliance; emergency management; administration, manpower and data management.
    • Analyze funding strategy for the portfolio of Installation programs to include the alignment of PPBE, Common Levels of Service (COLS) and installation requirements to achieve institutional goals.
    • Evaluate the cost/benefit of investment in O&M programs and provide senior leadership trade-space options within and between appropriations.
    • Analyze and evaluate O&M investment impacts on readiness, capabilities, and business operations.
    • Brief senior staff.
    • Perform studies and analyses and generate technical documentation.
    • Identify risks and issues and ensure appropriate tracking and mitigation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline desired)
    • 4+ years of experience in DoD program analysis within Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution processes
    • 4 to 10 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related discipline; Master’s degree desired.
    • Experience analyzing a variety of programs in the following areas: installations, installation services and facilities.
    • Availability for occasional travel beyond the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
    • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
