    LMI is seeking Mid-level Program Analysts to work on-site at a client organization located in the Pentagon, VA. The Analyst will use their background in DoD manpower, training and education, force preservation and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to provide policy, advisory, and programmatic analysis in support of senior leader processes.


    Applicant selected for this position will perform analysis and evaluation of programs, to include all phases of planning, programming, budgeting, execution, accounting, performance assessment, and financial management in support of Headquarters Marine Corps senior decision making processes. This position will be embedded in our client’s organization and be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Analyze Marine Corps requirements and resources in the planning, programming, budgeting and execution process.
    • Analyze Manpower, training and education programs provided via appropriated funds and non-appropriated funds (military and civilian) and evaluate trade-space options that impact or are impacted by increases or decreases in personnel quantity, personnel mix (military, civilian, contractor), personnel pay, and force structure options across the life cycle.  
    • Provide analytical reports, technical assessments, strategic recommendations, analysis of capabilities, and policy recommendations.
    • Analyze and evaluate investment impacts in these areas on readiness and capabilities.
    • Perform studies and analyses and generate technical documentation
    • Brief senior staff


    • Bachelor's degree required (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline desired)
    • 4+ years of experience in DoD resource management and/or program analysis.
    • Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution decision process experience
    • 4 to 10 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related discipline; Master’s degree desired.
    • Experience analyzing programs in one or more of the following areas: Manpower, Training and Education, and Force Preservation.
    • Availability for occasional travel beyond the Washington, DC metropolitan area
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.     • Active secret or higher security clearance is preferred.
