    LMI is seeking Senior Program Analysts to work on-site at a client organization located in the Pentagon, VA. The Analyst will use their background in analyzing programs in support of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to provide policy, advisory, and programmatic analysis in support of senior leader processes.


    Applicant selected for this position will perform analysis and evaluation of programs, to include all phases of planning, programming, budgeting, execution, accounting, performance assessment, and financial management in support of Headquarters Marine Corps senior decision making processes. This position will be embedded in our client’s organization and be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Analyze Department of Defense (DoD) resource management and financial requirements
    • Conduct acquisition and non-acquisition program analysis (i.e., across appropriations such as procurement; RDT&E; O&M; manpower (military and civilian); and infrastructure).
    • Evaluate the cost/benefit of investment in O&M programs and provide senior leadership trade-space options within and between appropriations.
    • Analyze and evaluate O&M investment impacts on readiness, capabilities, and business operations
    • Brief senior staff
    • Perform studies and analyses and generate technical documentation
    • Identify risks and issues and ensure appropriate tracking and mitigation


    • Bachelor's degree required (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline desired)
    • 6+ years of experience in DoD program analysis within Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution processes
    • 10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related discipline; or 12+ years and a Bachelor’s degree Experience analyzing a variety of programs in one or more of the following areas: manpower, training, medical, equipment investments, operations and support, logistics, installations and IT/cyber.
    • Availability for occasional travel beyond the Washington, DC metropolitan area
    • Ability to obtain a government security clearance


    • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
    • Active secret or higher security clearance is preferred.
