    LMI seeks a senior configuration management (CM) specialist to support a federal program management office in Northern Virginia. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate travel and trade. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation.

    Responsibilities

    You will provide configuration and product lifecycle management support for the client’s acquisition programs throughout their entire acquisition lifecycles.  You will be responsible for establishing and executing full range of configuration management including identification, control, status reporting, and configuration audits of all acquisition documents and data at all stages of the program acquisitions including but not limited to artifacts such as trade studies, business cases, SOW, RFP, proposals, ECPs, CDRLs, DIDs, etc.

     

    Specific responsibilities may include:

    • Maintain program acquisition document baseline
    • Support program bill of materials management
    • Support government property management
    • Support various CCBs

    Qualifications

    • Highly Preferred: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI
    • 5+ years’ experience and a BS degree in Engineering, information management or a related discipline
    • 3+ years’ experience in configuration and data/document managementExperience with CMPRO of other similar tools
    • Familiarity with DHS or DoD acquisition lifecycle and systems engineering lifecycle
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, SharePoint
    • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders
    • Ability to effectively problem solve
    • Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
    • Possess strong organizational skills
