    LMI's Digital Services team seeks a Delivery Lead to provide IT subject matter expertise and drive delivery of digital projects across cost, schedule, staffing, and technical performance dimensions.  Work will be primarily conducted at LMI headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA, but may also be performed at various federal agencies in the Washington, DC area.

    Responsibilities

    The Delivery Lead will lead the delivery of multi-workstream digital projects, with responsibilities and accountabilities including:

    • Guide, oversee, and greenlight technical solutions to requirements, architectures, and designs both vertically up and down the technical stack to horizontally across functional domains
    • Sustainment of implemented solutions in production to meet SLAs
    • Service desk operations to support implemented solutions
    • Estimate level of effort for technical solutions and recommend courses of action based on ROI and AoA analyses.
    • Build project plans and associated financial forecasts
    • Manage execution of multiple concurrent projects – track actual cost and schedule vs. forecast, adjust cost and schedule, identify and mitigate risks, remove blockers, and escalate issues.

    Communicate project status with stakeholders

    Qualifications

    Minimum

    10 years experience across one or more of the following IT areas:

    • Software architecture and development in Java or .NET
    • IT infrastructure – compute/storage/networking, virtualization, cloud, DevOps
    • ITSM – ServiceNow , ITIL, Service Desk
    • COTS implementation

    10 years experience across one or more of the following technologies:

    • COTS accounting, timekeeping, or HR implementation
    • ServiceNow
    • Sharepoint
    • Java or .NET
    • AWS, Cloud, virtualization
    • Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/Active Directory

    Demonstrated experience of 5 years leading technical staff and projects of at least $3M annually

     

    Effective and polished written and oral communication skills

     

    Preferred

    One or more of the following certifications – AWS CSA, ITIL, Agile CSM, A+, Security+, PMP

    Security clearance
