    LMI has an immediate need for a Tableau Developer and Metrics Analyst to work onsite with our client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will serve on the intelligence analysis staff for a U.S. Federal Government Agency working with classified media. The Tableau Developer and Metrics Analysts will develop and analyze metrics and visualize trends and analysis using Tableau and other data visualization and business intelligence software.

    Responsibilities

    The Tableau Developer and Metrics Analyst will:

    • Develop performance metrics, conduct statistical analyses, and apply decision models to address business process challenges for a federal government agency.
    • Develop intuitive dashboards and data visualization products using Tableau.
    • Perform metrics data collection and a variety of statistical analyses using Microsoft Excel and SAS software.
    • Conduct extensive quality control and record keeping procedures to ensure the highest levels of data integrity.
    • Research data and develop program review materials.
    • Research best practices procedures pertaining to performance metrics and performance standards.

    Qualifications

    • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with a full-scope polygraph is required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, business administration, or a related field including coursework in basic statistics and measurement is required.
    • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel with significant understanding of formulas and macros is required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing statistical analysis and/or creating and applying performance metrics is desired.
    • 24 years of experience developing Tableau dashboards.
    • Experience analyzing data from large datasets using geospatial and/or statistical analysis tools.
    • Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and business intelligence software, including but not limited to recent versions Tableau.
    • Extensive experience developing visualizations using Tableau Desktop and deploying those visualizations to Tableau Server.
    • Experience developing content for and delivering training to others on the use of Tableau or a similar business intelligence software.
    • Experience with ETL tools, performing ETL processes, and enhancing and automating queries from data sources, such as relational databases and flat files.
    • Experience developing and delivering Tableau training, managing and tracking end user requests, and troubleshooting Tableau issues.
    • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with business customers and technical teams.
