  • Overview

    This position is on the consultant staff of LMI, a private management consulting organization located in McLean, VA that provides solutions to the federal government. The position will be located in the Springfield, VA area.


    This position will provide subject matter expertise support in the facilities/infrastructure and data analysis areas as it relates to facilities systems, master planning, and strategic assessments. In addition, the position includes facility data collection, analysis of condition assessments, review and evaluation of project status, prioritization of funding, and development of unfunded priority project listings. Communication with the customer’s mid-level and senior-level staff, and collaboration with a broad range of engineering and operations personnel is required.


    Responsibilities of the position may include:


    • Serve as the Facility Condition Assessment Lead;
      • Review Facility Condition Assessments/Reassessments
      • Process and maintain associated documentation
      • Act as liaison between Facilities, Construction, and Project Management branches


    • Serve as a database steward, responsible for managing data quality in an ARCHIBUS database environment;
      • Act as the nexus between database administration and IT support to ensure adherence to security and disaster recovery, personnel control, physical access controls, maintenance controls, and data protection and privacy
      • Combine data, processes, and tools to help plan and manage facilities strategically
      • Perform record keeping and data maintenance
      • Perform associated software training


    • Generate reports and briefings/presentations for management and senior leadership
    • Perform SharePoint administration
    • Assist with all facets of facilities Operations and Maintenance work


    • Bachelor's degree and 3+ year's of relevant work experience
    • Demonstrated critical/strategic thinking to help client effectively manage daily operations
    • Demonstrated ability to work in an independent setting performing detailed analysis
    • Experience with SharePoint design and functionality
    • Familiarity with ARCHIBUS and BUILDER software/programs
    • Strong communication skills and customer service acumen
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
    • Security Clearance Statement:  Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Minimum of TS/SCI clearance is required. A TS/SCI CI Poly is desired.
