    This position, Supply Chain Readiness Spares Packages (RSP) Senior Analyst, is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and directly supports the United States Air Force Sustainment Center’s (AFSC) Maintenance and Supply Requirements Division in planning the spares requirements for all Air Force RSPs, supporting major command customers and providing training.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide process support for the RSP Review Cycle to include subject matter knowledge of the RSP process, policy and data systems. Support the RSP Review process via creating and executing ad hoc queries for quality control and special analysis. Work with users and the RSP Functional Manager to identify and resolve process or data issues.
    • Deliver WSMIS REALM & SAM data systems support. Provide technical and user support for the data systems involved in the RSP process. Identify problems and track resolution progress. Assist RSP Functional Manager with identifying, describing and testing Problem Reports, Action Items and System Design Requirements.
    • Conduct ad hoc analysis using the RSP data systems extracts and software to perform analysis in support of the request of the RSP Functional Manager
    • Provide user training on the data, processes and software systems involved in the RSP Review Process. This is both conference/Skype sessions and travel to locations to provide RSP Workshop sessions.
    • Function as SharePoint Site Collection Administrator to include adding and deleting users, maintaining main site and sub-sites.
    • Support projects analyzing existing system-support supply chains (including, inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations like the Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Air Force.
    • Support projects that re-design or enhance system-support via supply chains.
    • Analyze and assess government agency logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.
    • Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
    • Provide program management support, perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of government agency leadership, and conduct research in support of logistics strategy and supply chain initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • A current active DoD Secret Clearance.
    • Master’s degree required.
    • Minimum of twelve (12) years of Air Force Supply Chain Management experience.
    • Knowledge of the Air Force RSP process.
    • Experience with the Aircraft Sustainability Model (ASM).
    • Analytical skills for inventory and program analyses.
    • Knowledge and experience with developing, executing and maintaining SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and Access. Understanding of how to use Open Data Base Connection (ODBC) protocols to access databases.
    • Understanding of the Readiness Spares Packages (RSP) Review process and related data. Basic understanding of pipeline modeling concepts.
    • Good quantitative and analytical skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
    • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, and ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels within Government and industry.
    • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
    • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
    • Availability for occasional travel.
