This position is on the staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA.
Develop and/or use simple databases and spreadsheets; assist with data collection, data analysis, and library research.
Perform data quality and data assurance reviews; conduct data analyses using qualitative and quantitative methods, prepare summary displays to report analysis results and findings.
Assist with business unit management functions; compile training statistics; and monitor staff compliance with internal corporate requirements.
Perform editing, document formatting, and proofreading.
Serve as backup for administrative assistants.
Respond to internal and external substantive questions and inquiries on assigned tasks and projects.
Give clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and results.
Manage calendars, phones, and arrange meetings and conference calls to include scheduling with other attendees, scheduling conference room, and arranging conference calls and off-site meetings which may require establishing call- in phone numbers
Manage daily schedules by pre-gathering required materials from attendees or compile hand-outs as required
Manage weekly senior staff meetings by initiating agenda items, facilitating, and establish system to monitor action items generated
Manage monthly staff meetings by initiating agenda items, facilitating, and establish a system to track action items generated • Create PowerPoint presentations for meetings, off-site meetings, conferences and Congressional briefings
Interface with Senior Leadership
Secret clearance required.
Five to nine years relevant work experience.
Proficiency in various data processing and data analysis tools, computer spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to compose and write a variety of internal and external general business documents, reports, and presentations.
Strong interpersonal and listening skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within LMI and with its clients.
Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communications.
Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills essential.
Strong ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines set by project leader. Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks and projects within assigned deadlines.
