This position is on the consulting staff of a government consulting organization headquartered in Tysons, VA. Work on-site at the Mark Center.
Responsible for supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense-Logistics, Director of Contingency Support.
Supports the institutionalization of operational contract support (OCS) within DoD and with Interagency partners and the continued development of OCS through the interaction of the OCS Functional Capabilities Integration Board (FCIB) including developing briefings, white papers, data retrieval and other support approaches.
Communicates with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
Assists in development of reports and briefs to advise clients on required DOTMLPF-P capabilities to meet requirements.
Must be familiar with the DoD and be able to coordinate among OSD offices, the Geographic Combatant Commands, and the Services.
Works with senior Directors within the headquarters as necessary and under the guidance of the Director to execute acquisition policies, programs and objectives across a broad-range of business operations with worldwide impact.
Research and advise on OSD-level policy related to Operational Contract Support and Vendor Threat Mitigation.
