    LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of the government. We have an immediate need for a ServiceNow Application Developer in our Digital Services group.


    The ServiceNow Application Developer must be experienced across ServiceNow areas, specifically system administration, application creation, and implementation, with direct experience related to implementing a software application in the ServiceNow environment. The incumbent must have a solid understanding of ServiceNow administration and development capabilities and be able to quickly learn and adapt to meet client requirements.

    • Develop software applications using agile methodology.
    • Work independently to complete implementation projects.
    • Identify and implement best-practice solutions to client requirements.
    • Collect requirements and develop applications within the ServiceNow platform.
    • Assist in gathering and documenting user and process requirements.
    • Review client requirements and identify ServiceNow areas for automation.
    • Keep abreast of new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption as appropriate. 


    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
    • At least 4 years professional experience
    • ServiceNow certifications preferred
    • ServiceNow platform implementation experience, preferably with DoD or another federal client
    • Experience with ServiceNow platform administration and development capabilities
    • Experience troubleshooting and problem solving on the ServiceNow platform.
    • Specific experience related to developing capabilities around service portal, custom applications, and ITSM
    • Significant JavaScript experience
    • Experience with languages such as Java, Microsoft .Net, AngularJS, HTML5, and jQuery
    • Significant Tableau experience preferred
    • Experience participating in an agile team or certified as a ScrumMaster
    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of LMI personnel and clients
    • Able to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication
    • Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks with little supervision
    • Self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
    • Able to work in a deadline-oriented environment
    • Security clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required
