  • Overview

Are you a Data Analyst/Scientist who likes using data to make impactful recommendations that can affect positive change? Do you also have a love for Tableau? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are looking for someone who has experience with statistical analysis and survey methodology to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer.

    Responsibilities

It would be ideal if you have prior experience supporting initiatives within the IC, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients.

You should have prior experience with Tableau and COGNOS, and if you have working knowledge of SPSS or R, that would be nice but not a deal breaker. You will primarily use Tableau to analyze and graphically depict several data sets, ranging from workforce metrics to survey data.

This is a great opportunity to assist the government with structuring the data and advising them on approaches to statistical analysis and making possible workforce recommendations based on the data. You will have the opportunity to deliver insights to decision-makers via briefings and written reports and assist leadership in crafting briefings to senior-level officials. Use your skills and talents to affect positive change with this customer.

You should have direct, applied experience with most of the following areas or tools:

    1. Tableau
    2. COGNOS
    3. Statistical sampling and analysis (to include correlations, cross-tabulations, and regressions)
    4. Data modeling
    5. Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)

It would be nice if you had prior experience with:

    1. Workforce metrics and other human capital data
    2. Survey methods
    3. SPSS, STATA, or R

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree with a major in a quantitative (statistics, mathematics, etc.) or social science discipline; a master's degree is desired
    2. At least 3 years of experience (preferable with an Intelligence Community customer), to include experience in one or more relevant skills or tools
    3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
    4. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
