    This position is sponsored from the LMI Southwest Regional Office, San Antonio, TX with actual on-site location at Ft. Knox, KY.     Responsibilities

    Works with a small team of Program/Project Managers, Project Schedulers, Medical Planners, Transition Planners, Procurement Specialists, Clinical Staff, Hospital Administrators, and Medical Maintenance Specialists to coordinate and manage the comprehensive equipment transition plans, clinical Concept of Operations, Move day management, and to assist the team in the management of assigned projects that will improve the nation’s Military Medical capability. As a Transition Coordinator for the project, will perform plan coordination and analysis, as well as perform transition oversight and management for clinical moves, patient moves, medical logistics and medical equipment / service integration projects. Responsible for assisting the Transition Planner with the comprehensive Transition Plan and coordinating for the on-site transition support and assistance. Also serves as the project Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).

    Qualifications

    • Requires a minimum of three years of practical experience in transition coordination and planning, supply chain and distribution planning and management, logistics support planning, medical supply contracting, and/or medical materiel management operations. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Project or other Project Scheduling Software (i.e. Primavera) is preferred. Background in Medical Projects is desired.
    • Direct experience in coordinating transition plans, coordinating / modifying move schedules, managing move plans, and knowledge of clinical operations is required.
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate transition timelines as necessary according to changes in transition timelines, assist functional areas in determining compliance with project transition requirements, and provide oversight of actual movement of staff and clinical/administrative areas is required.
    • Ability to achieve the OSHA 30 (Construction) certification.
    • Must be able to achieve the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills are required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within our consulting firm and with our customers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. This includes ability to compose, write, and edit a variety of technical presentations, briefings, papers, and management reports. Samples will be requested.
    • Proficiency with a variety of software applications, computer spreadsheets, presentation software and the Internet is required.
    • The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree from an accredited University, or equivalent experience.
    • Must be able to successfully pass a local background check to gain facility access.
    • A security clearance is required to obtain a Government CAC Card. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with an active security clearance.
