  • Overview

    LMI, a not-for-profit strategic consulting organization focused on the federal government, is seeking a  Project Scheduler to provide support for the PMO of a very large scale facility replacement project to deliver a state of the art facility and infrastructure to be comprised of a 712,000 sq ft main building/s, parking garage/s, a visitor control center, and a remote inspection facility. Support is required to develop, integrate, maintain, and perform analysis on the large, complex integrated master schedule. A relocation package is available.


    • Will interact with the  site lead at the construction site and provide daily status updates to the government IMS lead on work performed at the site and any deviations from the design-builder’s published schedule.
    • Perform full-time schedule monitoring at the  construction site, when construction operations begin.
    • Serve as an  technical advisor for the IMS. Create, modify, and filter network schedules from various information sources.
    • Perform quality control and quality assurance analysis of schedule data to ensure integrity of related data links in an environment of ongoing and continuous schedule data change.
    • Provide ad hoc support to  IMS Lead in development and publication of standard and tailored schedule products.
    • Define and communicate impacts of schedule variance on  schedule critical path, near critical paths, task/activity float, and impacts of changes on linked/related program.
    • Provide schedule input to the budget and other taskers or actions.
    • Support APMs in planning and technical exchanges between prime contractors, segments, projects and customers.
    • Take & publish meeting minutes; Advise PMO & stakeholders on IMS issues.
    • Document & support implementation of IMS improvements & best practices.
    • Prepare IMS briefing materials.




    • Working knowledge of the use and manipulation of MS Project data, to include data residing in multiple complex sub-projects residing both locally and on remote server locations.
    • At least two years demonstrated experience as a scheduler on at least one major IT, security or construction project with large, complex schedules using MS Project.
    • Active TS/SCI clearance 


    • MS Project 2010 or 2013 certification.
    • Certification as Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional (SP) or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).
    • Related experience in a large construction project.
