  • Overview

The Multimedia Producer creates compelling digital branding and marketing content for web, email, social media, and paid online media that integrates seamlessly with overall strategy and across platforms. We seek a creative and energetic self-starter who produces crisp, engaging content across platforms built for the rapidly evolving world of online video. This excellent communicator writes, edits, and optimizes content with SEO strategy and industry best practices in mind while planning, managing, and executing the entire production process—budgeting, concepting, scripting, production, and post-production. The ideal candidate knows the ins and outs of video production and has a record of making captivating videos for the web that blend complex information and visual storytelling in exciting ways, whether through sit-down interview video production or motion-graphic narration.

    Responsibilities

    • Work across platforms to brainstorm and develop modern multimedia concepts in a fast-paced environment.
    • Manage and utilize a state-of-the-art video production studio while improving processes.
    • Plan and perform post-production tasks: review footage; make editorial decisions; handle logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, and color correction; add photographs, motion pictures, graphics, animation, and music; and perform final editing.
    • Create high-end multimedia for marketing, communications, presentations, computer-based training, web, and video.
    • Keep current with emerging multimedia design applications and technologies and advise on integrating new approaches to LMI’s strategic communications goals and objectives.
    • Work as a team member to design and develop multimedia products that improve organizational communication.
    • Turn technical concepts into dynamic, appealing visual media.
    • Set up equipment and technologies onsite, including video cameras, large viewing screens, and sound systems.
    • Shoot, edit, research, produce, interview subjects, write, and direct multi-purpose content for web videos, social media, and other communication venues.
    • Serve as the corporate photographer, capturing events and employee portraits.
    • Retouch and refine photography, maintain an image library, and provide digital resources to staff members.
    • Observe and produce content in compliance with brand standards.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum five years of professional experience in multimedia design.
      • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field
      • Deep knowledge of industry-standard software (Adobe CC) and digital video production including in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator.
    • Strong attention to detail, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Fluency in multimedia and digital content production and SEO best practices
    • Expert skills in producing, shooting, capturing, editing, and packaging video
    • Sophisticated design skills and knowledge of current design trends
