    LMI seeks a technology resource management analyst to work on the staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. The client site and work location for this position is in Washington, DC. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client perform program analysis, budgeting, and reporting on technology investments and programs. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide critical independent assessments supporting senior leader decisions within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and/or use simple databases and spreadsheets; assist with data collection and data analysis for CBP technology programs and investments.
    • Perform data quality and data assurance reviews; conduct data analyses using qualitative and quantitative methods, and prepare summary displays to report analysis results and findings.
    • Perform editing, document formatting, proofreading, and review of programmatic acquisition, OMB Business Case, and IT security documents.
    • Provide assistance with logistics for meetings and preparing briefings.
    • Respond to internal and external substantive questions and inquiries on assigned tasks and projects.
    • Give clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and results.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS required, BS preferred in Finance, IT, or related field
    • Entry level; internship experience or one to two years of work experience desired.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with data analysis tools such as SPSS, SAS, or Tableau, preferred.
    • Experience with SAP preferred
    • Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks and projects within assigned deadlines.
    • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills essential.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to compose and write a variety of internal and external general business documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Strong interpersonal and listening skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within LMI and with its clients.
    • Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communications.
