    LMI, a strategic consulting organization focused on providing solutions to the federal government, is seeking a senior COCOM planner. This position is located in Tysons, VA with potential work at client site in Pentagon.

    Responsibilities

    The Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO) requires support services for a contract to leverage Defense LREC Program data analytic capabilities to assist combatant commands (CCMD) in the completion of their Operations Plans (OPLAN) LREC Requirements Appendices.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience with analyzing, developing, maintaining, and/or revising CCMD OPLANs and/or contingency plans.
    • Experience working with the Global Force Management Process.
    • Knowledge of and experience implementing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 3130.03, Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) Planning Formats and Guidance
    • Joint planning, training and operational experience. This may include, but is not limited to, experience as a planner on a CCMD staff, Joint Staff, or other similar organizations.
    • Ability to conduct an analytical review of select CCMD OPLANs (to include, but not limited to the annexes related to intelligence, sustainment, signal, public affairs, civil affairs operations, information collection, host nation support, knowledge management, and operational contract support)
    • Experience with developing and analyzing Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD).
    • Ability to develop executive briefings and write a final report capturing the results of the analysis of the CCMD OPLANs providing actionable LREC recommendations.
    • Availability to travel to up to three CCMD locations (Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Colorado Springs, CO; Honolulu, HI; Stuttgart, GE) per year. Trips are one to two weeks in duration.
    • Secret clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
