    LMI is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst in our Digital Services group. 

    This position would be on site supporting our Tysons, VA headquarters office. Position will involve travel to client sites as needed.

    Responsibilities

    The ServiceNow Business Analyst must have experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or a similar workflow technology solution, specifically working with users and developers to conduct analyses on, and develop requirements for, application creation and implementation, with direct experience related to the process of implementing a software application. The incumbent must have a solid understanding of ServiceNow or Salesforce functionality and be able to quickly learn and adapt to meet client requirements. 

    • Assist in the development process for software applications using agile methodology.
    • Interface effectively between clients and internal technical resources.
    • Work closely with process owners, clients, stakeholders and internal customers to gather and analyze requirements for applications within the ServiceNow platform.
    • Identify best-practice solutions to client requirements, supporting development teams.
    • Overall responsibility for analyzing and documenting business processes and systems
    • Review client requirements and identify ServiceNow areas for automation.
    • Keep abreast of new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption as appropriate. 
    • Track, prioritize, and implement enhancement requests and defect corrections as needed
    • Create system design and operations documentation and user guides as requested by clients
    • Create user stories and ensure that they meet the criteria required to deliver a successful product
    • Assist with project scoping, white paper responses and other pre-sales efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • At least 4 years of professional experience
    • Experience troubleshooting and problem solving solutions on the ServiceNow or Salesforce platform.
    • Experience with gathering requirements for ServiceNow implementation projects
    • Understanding of software languages such as JavaScript, Java, Microsoft .Net, AngularJS, HTML5, and jQuery
    • Experience participating in an agile team or certified as a ScrumMaster
    • Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
    • Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices
    • Demonstrated ability to work with clients to identify requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance is required, for which you must be a US Citizen.

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    • ServiceNow, Salesforce, CSM, PPM or related certifications
    • TS/SCI with Poly security clearance preferred
