    LMI is seeking a Junior Program Analyst for a key opportunity for our government client in Ft. Belvoir, VA. This individual serves as the Government’s point of contact in day-to-day operations. Performs a variety of Operational and Analytical tasks with specific emphasis on organizing, managing, tracking, and configuration control of documentation and processes within the organization. Responsible for updating and managing reoccurring briefings, lists, documentation, databases, calendars, and SharePoint sites. Willing to develop a working knowledge in DoD acquisitions and business system life cycle development; strong management and leadership, written and oral communications skills; familiarity with industry best practices. Demonstrated leadership abilities, formal education, and/or experience with technology and/or software implementations. Responsible for overseeing all contractual responsibilities, administrative items, and delivery of all contract deliverables. Provides the project leadership team in providing best business practices. Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Help develop and launch programs to improve operations and achieve success.
    • Ensures activities involving application or implementation of recommendations are being met.
    • Works with technical personnel to capture information to create briefings for senior leaders.
    • Analyzes program information to make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Acts as internal resource, assisting project team leaders in the analysis, evaluation, troubleshooting, and documentation of products, processes, and systems.
    • Collects and analyzes data and metrics to track performance and project.
    • Maintains databases.
    • Organizes and maintains SharePoint document libraries, and controls document distribution.
    • Provides information needed for creating and updating briefings given to key individuals/groups/stakeholders internally and externally to the organization.
    • Tracks, coordinates, and reviews incoming taskers; makes recommendations for revisions to actions.
    • Maintains meeting control of Operations Calendar
    • Maintains daily “Smart Book” for the PM.
    • Oversees onboarding / offboarding activities for new employees into the organization.
    • Runs and tracks “daily standups”.
    • Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances.
    • Identify process improvements and develops action items; monitors and ensures the completion of such action items.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience providing oversight of multi-functional project teams, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints. Experience with Integrated Master Schedules.
    • Experience with data and cost analytics –managing cost, schedule, performance.
    • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
    • Perform research, designs and determines solutions and prepares recommendations; evaluates performance, reliability and other relevant factors; integrates and coordinates several activities.
    • Demonstrated general knowledge of Government contract and subcontract management
    • Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with the practices of industry business development

    Education: Bachelor's degree and previous experience data analytics & statistics required.

    Clearance: initially other Public Trust with subsequently obtaining a Secret Clearance.
