We are currently seeking a detail oriented, experienced, and highly-skilled Data Steward to join our Advanced Analytics team in Vicenza, Italy. The Data Steward's role is to strategically manage assigned data entities across the organization while ensuring high levels of data quality, integrity, availability, and privacy. This individual is responsible for standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, and monitoring/auditing the data quality and access. The data steward should focus on business benefits, foster the goal of data re-use and articulate the strategic significance of information to the organization.


*This position is located in Vicenza, Italy and requires an active TS/SCI clearance*


The Data Steward will

  • Recommend, design, implement and monitor data governance procedures and/or tools for managing and auditing data access.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned data entities.
  • Design and own process improvements for data quality analysis, auditing, tracking, cleansing, and escalation to ensure high quality data within various systems
  • Perform data quality checks for each data source system.
  • Resolve profile and affiliation issues on a case-by-case basis.
  • Process Development and Documentation
  • Recommend, design, implement and monitor quality procedures for use in the data production process.
  • Recommend maintenance enhancements to data acquisition processes to improve accuracy of data


  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting, mathematics, or a related business or quantitative discipline.
  • Understanding of the database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large quantities of data.
  • 5+ years of related experience required
  • Demonstrated understanding of operations and data structures
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven passion for the data quality discipline
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment strongly preferred
  • Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities required.
  • Strong written, technical documentation and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
