The SAP Batch Analyst will work on a large project team supporting the Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC) organization located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Army SSC provides capability support services to all Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems. Capability support includes system sustainment, sustainment modernization, and enhancement activities such as system design, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include functional analysis, help desk, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration management, database administration, portal and support tool management, SAP BASIS support, technical services, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.

Responsibilities

The SAP BASIS/Batch Analyst will assist the Army SSC in (1) providing technical support for SAP systems and non-SAP systems (Intellicorp LiveCompare, Cisco Horizon and Transaction Analyzer) utilized in the LMP architecture, across DEV, QAS, PROD and COOP environments, and managing the SAP database systems across SQL and Oracle databases, (2) managing the transport landscape and perform transports between the various SAP system environments, U-Perform, and Control M, (3) performing system monitoring and High Availability of all managed systems using defined scripts at the Unix level, Horizon, database logs, and other tools, and (4) maintaining Developer Keys, Object Keys and S-IDs to perform system development and access SAP documentation and managing SAP and database passwords across all SAP environments.

 

The SAP BASIS/Batch Analyst will assist the Army SSC in (1) providing Batch network support services for DEV, QAS, Production, FRT, and Data Load systems, and (2) creating, scheduling, starting, stopping and monitoring Batch jobs run in the SAP or PI systems using Control M. The Batch Analyst shall support Army SSC in operating systems such as Transaction Analyzer and Horizon to capture metrics and report statistics on user activity in the system and transactions executed.

Qualifications

  • Active or interim DoD Secret Clearance
  • IT Level 2 and IAT Level 2 certification preferred
  • Security+ CE and relevant certification/training
  • 7 years SAP Batch Management and Control M experience:
  • Expert level knowledge of Control-M and integration of Control-M with SAP
  • Extensive experience in SAP Batch management and monitoring
  • Familiar with LMP Change Lifecycle process
  • Familiar with USD and Remedy process
  • Familiar with CRDB process
